Description

2020 – ongoing
Exploring humankind’s connections with nature, and the emergence and/or evolutionary transformation of new life. This project involves the design and assembly of 3-dimensional paintings made on sequential layers of acrylic Perspex. This approach is a hybrid of painting and sculpture. The “Emergent” series reflects on the impact of accelerated evolution and envisages new and unique forms of life inspired by the microscopic and subcellular shapes and patterns currently in nature.
